Any pane on the car, from a door window to a rear pane with a defroster grid. Haledon is five minutes below our Stockton Road shop, most stocked glass goes in the same day, and jobs generally take an hour or two once the correct part is in hand.

A fair number of the cars parked on Haledon streets are older than the average, and that changes what auto glass replacement involves. Fifteen and twenty year old sedans, small vans and pickups often need panes that no longer sit on a shelf in the region, and vent windows and fixed quarter glass on those models are exactly the parts a busy shop is tempted to fudge. We would rather take the extra day and get the piece your car was built with than fit something that nearly seals and leaves you chasing a leak in the first heavy rain.
The rest is straightforward, and it is close by. Bring the car up Belmont Avenue and it sits in a quiet North Haledon street rather than on a busy frontage while the work happens. Trim comes off properly instead of being levered, the cavity is vacuumed out before anything new goes in, new clips and seals go on rather than the originals being coaxed back into place, and the window is run up and down against its stop before we hand the keys over. Our workmanship on that install is warranted for as long as the car is yours.
“I had a fantastic experience with Atlantic Auto Glass! Todd replaced the back window on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and did an amazing job. He was right on time, super professional, and made sure every bit of broken glass was cleaned out-even…”

Haledon glass breaks in slow motion and then all at once. Cars live at the kerb on streets where the parked lane sits close to moving traffic, so a door mirror clips a door mirror, a delivery van takes a corner tight, or a door swings open in a gap that was never wide enough. Quarter glass suffers particularly, because it is small, fixed and sits right where a passing vehicle's mirror travels. Then there is the two-family driveway problem: cars stacked nose to tail with barely a hand's width between them, and a rear pane taking the corner of a door every time somebody in a rush gets out of the vehicle behind. None of it is dramatic and all of it is expensive to leave.

Usually, yes, though it may take a day or two rather than an afternoon. We search the region first and go wider if we have to, and we will tell you the realistic date rather than a hopeful one. What we will not do is fit a pane from a similar model and let you find out about the fit when it rains on Belmont Avenue.
It can be either, and often both. When tempered glass shatters, fragments jam the regulator track and the motor keeps working against them. We pull the door card off, clear the cavity completely, check the regulator and the clips that hold the pane, and quote any mechanical parts before fitting them. Replacing just the glass over a damaged track buys you a few weeks at best.
Rarely. Once the correct pane is in hand the work is normally an hour or two, so a morning drop-off is usually an afternoon collection. The exception is glass that has to come from further afield, in which case we would rather you kept driving the car and brought it in the day the part lands than leave it sitting with us.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
